About
Hello I'm Anna!
I'm a conservationist, photographer and outdoor enthusiast. I am from Northern Ireland and now work as a Ranger in Dorset.
I am passionate about using photography and creative imagery to share my love of the outdoors, nature and wildlife conservation. In a world which is becoming increasingly urbanised and where the environment is facing multiple pressures from human activity, my aim is to re-connect people with nature and to encourage others to explore, value and protect the environment for both people and wildlife.

While studying BSc Environmental Science at the University of Nottingham I had the fantastic opportunity to travel to Spain, Australia and Canada, studying and working in incredible parts of the world. Travel, adventure and exploring new wild places, meeting people from different cultures along the way is super exciting to document as a photographer. However, my MSc in Biological Photography and Imaging, partly carried out during lockdown, was when I realised that vibrant nature, full of drama, colour and charisma is staring at us from our front doorstep.

Working as a Conservation Ranger in various places around the South West of England has taught me more about UK wildlife conservation. It has been a privilege to work alongside passionate and driven people who are dedicated to conserving UK habitats and wildlife. I truly believe that humans, can co-exist with wildlife thriving if resources are used smartly and sustainably.

Outside of Ranger work and photography, I enjoy any form of outdoor activity, especially cycling, running and triathlon. For me, sport is an excuse for raw adventure and to be free in nature!

My hope is that my photography will capture wild adventures, inspire wonder at creation, educate and encourage people to protect our planet for humans and wildlife.

Let the adventure begin!
